Section 5. Background Checks -- Each area shall complete a minimum CBI background check every  year at their own area’s expense for all their coaches, assistant coaches and anyone regularly active on  the practice/playing field or dugout prior to the team’s first practice or when an individual is identified  as a coach, assistant coach and anyone regularly active involved with coaching the team. Areas shall  maintain a report of these individuals including the date when the background check was completed.  The county has the right to request this report at any time during the playing season.
